We have many wild animals that live in our midst. With increased development and urbanization, their habitats are being destroyed causing them to have more interactions with humans. Many, such as deer, rabbits, racoon, and others, are commonly observed in our area. One of the most fascinating and misunderstood are bats.

Bats are animals that evoke strong emotions in people. Some love to have them around while others would prefer to see them only on television documentaries. Bats may not belong everywhere, here are some “bat facts” that may improve your understanding.
