ORRIN MORRIS: Take note of God’s awesome works

SPARKLEBERRY Vaccinium arboreum

The psalmist gives us an appropriate invitation when he said, “Come see what God has done, how awesome His works” Psalm 66:5. The wildflower we examine today is present around the perimeter of our granite outcrops and atop the granite where there is sufficient soil.

There is a lot to see other than a barren “useless” landscape. This negative connotation is sad but true as evidenced by the presence of trash, from old tires and refrigerators to rusty cans and piles of rags.
