Several local flag football teams had successful regular seasons and are preparing to open the GHSA playoffs this week.
Locust Grove enters the Division 2 bracket as one of the teams to beat when it begins play in the round of 32. McDonough, Woodland and Dutchtown also earned spots in the playoffs, which open on Dec. 5.
