Jerry Mack is the new head football coach at Kennesaw State, the school announced Sunday.

Kennesaw State hired Jerry Mack, the Jacksonville Jaguars running backs coach with 20 years of experience at the collegiate level, as the second head football coach in its history on Sunday.

Mack, 44, is in his first season with the Jaguars. He spent the previous three seasons coaching the same position at the University of Tennessee (2021-23). Mack served as head coach at FCS program North Carolina Central from 2014-17, winning three Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference championships and a berth in the 2016 Celebration Bowl in going 31-15.
