ATLANTA — It’s not often a home crowd begins to file out of the stadium as the game goes to overtime, but that’s what happened Sunday in Atlanta.

As regulation ended between the Falcons and the Carolina Panthers, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers stamped their 27-19 comeback win over the New Orleans Saints, clinching the NFC South title and eliminating the Falcons from playoff contention.
