The Clayton County Police Department announced Tuesday morning that an unidentified teen who showed up at a police precinct Monday has been positively identified as a runaway from Henry County.

"The unidentified juvenile referenced in yesterday's media release has been positively identified as a runaway from Henry County," Tuesday morning's statement from the CCPD read. "The juvenile initially provided a false name to the Clayton County Police Department but was later confirmed to be reported missing out of Henry County, Georgia. The Henry County Police Department is now leading the investigation."
