STOCKBRIDGE – If you have sleep apnea, chances are that your partner knows and has alerted you because one of the signs of sleep apnea is snoring. However, Jennifer Butler, M.D., from Piedmont Pulmonary and Sleep Clinic across from Piedmont Henry Hospital, states that there are other signs that you might be suffering from sleep apnea and not even know it.

“Sleep apnea is a sleep disorder when a person’s breathing is interrupted during sleep,” said Butler. “It can be serious because it can mean that your body may not be receiving the oxygen that it needs.”
