The Heritage Park Veterans Museum first opened on Veterans Day, Nov. 11, 2010 consisting of five glass display cases, nine mannequins and 15 uniforms. The museum has grown to include vehicles, uniforms, military weapons, photos, a library, a chapel, a mobile museum and more. The Veterans Wall of Honor also is a short walk across the bridge from the museum at 99 Lake Dow Road , McDonough. Here are some scenes of the mobile museum at the 50th anniversary of the Henry County Fire Department in October at Nash Farm Park.
