Henry County Taking Steps To Reduce Emergency Response Times

Information presented at Tuesday’s Henry County Board of Commissioners meeting.

MCDONOUGH — In June, the Henry County Board of Commissioners approved acceptance of an $825,000 federal grant aimed at helping reduce emergency response times. On Tuesday, the BOC approved two contracts as part of the program.

In Tuesday’s meeting, commissioners unanimously approved a $232,000 contract with Kimley-Horn Associates to conduct a connected vehicle technology deployment prototype performance analysis.
