McDonough City Council Make Updates to Zoning Code

MCDONOUGH – The city of McDonough accepted an agreement that would grant the right of first refusal to sales of 108 Jonesboro Street in the City Council meeting on Oct. 3. Former councilwoman Gail Notti currently owns the property and was the one who offered the agreement.

The right of first refusal would give the city the right to purchase the property if Notti decides to sell. If an offer is made to purchase the property, Notti must give notice to the city and allow 15 days for it to match the offer and purchase the land. If the city declines to match the offer, the sale will go forward with the interested buyer.
