McDONOUGH — As of Wednesday, Oct. 30, almost 90,000 Henry County residents have visited the polls ahead of the General Election on Nov. 5. More than 53% of county registered voters have already cast their vote, either through absentee ballots or early in-person voting.

The highest early voter turnout was on Oct. 15, which was the first day of early voting; 8,808 ballots were cast throughout the county on that day. As of Oct. 31, there were still more than 80,000 registered voters in Henry County who had not yet cast their ballot for the General Election taking place in less than a week.
