McDONOUGH – After a successful first week of serving students and children in Henry County with lunch and breakfast during the mandatory school closing, Henry County Schools has been approved to extend its services to two additional locations in the county.
Already serving the community at Locust Grove Elementary, Hampton Middle, McDonough Middle, and Stockbridge Middle, the district’s school nutrition department will be expanding operations to Oakland Elementary and Wesley Lakes Elementary starting Monday, March 23.
Increases in major cost categories like housing and vehicles have contributed substantially to recent inflation, while sectors like food and energy have seen great volatility in prices.
