Central Georgia EMC’s grant program, Operation Round Up, has awarded $2,000 to Tennis People Inc., a non-profit organization dedicated to providing opportunities for adults with intellectual disabilities to play tennis. This donation will help cover the costs associated with organizing a tennis tournament specifically tailored for this unique group of athletes.

Tennis People Inc. was founded by long-time tennis coach and volunteer Bonnie Wainwright. The organization offers year-round programming that includes instruction, drills, league play, tournaments, and weekly practices at Richard Craig Park in McDonough.
