Ketel Marte had his career-high 33rd homer and Lourdes Gurriel Jr. added a solo shot as the visiting Arizona Diamondbacks kept pace in the National League wild-card race with a 7-4 victory over the Milwaukee Brewers on Friday night.

The Diamondbacks snapped a 4-all tie with three runs in the sixth. Gurriel, activated earlier in the day off the injured list, opened the inning with his 18th homer. Eugenio Suarez and Gabriel Moreno had consecutive one-out singles. Jared Koenig relieved and walked Geraldo Perdomo to load the bases. Corbin Carroll followed with an RBI groundout to make it 6-4.
