MCDONOUGH — The Ola Mustangs sent a message to the other nine football teams in Region 2-AAAA Friday night with their 7-3 victory over visiting Jones County in a game played in the rain.

Ola and Jones County entered the contest unbeaten, but with six games remaining, Ola jumps into first place in the region standings.
