Police Arrest Student Trying To Bring Gun Into Woodland Middle

STOCKBRIDGE — The Henry County Police Department announced Friday that a student was arrested Thursday for trying to bring a gun into Woodland Middle School in Stockbridge.

According to an HCPD statement, Henry County Police School Resource Officers and Henry County Schools staff responded to a tip, which quickly led to a collaborated effort of school staff and resource officers investigating a report that a student intended to bring a firearm on the campus of Woodland Middle.
