MCDONOUGH — The 2022-23 boys basketball season will go down as one where several local teams made loud statements and proved they could play with the best teams in the state.

Eagle’s Landing advanced to the Class AAAAA championship for the second year in a row falling to Kell, while Dutchtown, McDonough, Union Grove, and Woodland advanced to the Elite Eight in their respective classifications.
