New drone program to aid in aerial photos, searches for Henry County Police Department

McDONOUGH—The Henry County Police Department is making big strides in public safety and service to the community with its newly added SWARM (Special Wide Angle Reconnaissance Mitigation) Unit drone program.

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) in October of 2017 gave authorization to the Police Department to use the drones.
