(Nov. 15, 2024) --- NASA astronaut and Expedition 72 Commander Suni Williams smiles for a portrait inside the International Space Station's Zvezda service module during dinner time. The two NASA astronauts stranded in space have had their return home delayed again. Americans Suni Williams and Butch Wilmore found themselves marooned on the International Space Station (ISS) in June. With a mission initially only meant to last eight days, the Boeing Starliner spacecraft they arrived on was deemed unsafe to fly back on. Now a NASA update on Tuesday (17 Dec) has thwarted plans to get them back to Earth in February by stating the homeward voyage will be "no earlier than late March 2025".
