McDONOUGH — As Officer Thomas Hunnicutt stopped to get a cup of coffee, he was not expecting to save someone’s life. Fortunately, he was able to help out fellow police officer and friend, Officer Dave Donehoo.

While stopped at the McDonough Station Convenience Store, Officer Hunnicutt saw a city of McDonough Court Services van in the parking lot. He pulled up alongside the van to say hello to Officer Donehoo, a bailiff in the city’s municipal court, when he realized something wasn’t right.
