Local public safety agencies — including Henry County Emergency Management Agency, Henry County Police Department, Henry County Fire-Rescue and Henry County 911 — participated in Holidays with Heroes Dec. 7. The day started with breakfast at Heritage Park where participants were introduced to a group of kids from A Friend’s House, a local nonprofit organization that serves foster children. The children were then teamed up with public safety personnel and were taken shopping at Target. Here are some scenes from the event.
