CENTRAL GEORGIA DUE TO LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITIES...
Relative humidities of around 25 percent can be expected for around
4 hours this afternoon. Winds will be out of the northwest at 10 to
15 mph with gusts to 20 to 25 mph. With dry fuels, high fire danger
conditions can be expected.
Please refer to your local burn permitting authorities whether you
may burn outdoors. If you do burn outside, use extreme caution.
McDONOUGH – It is three weeks before Election Day, which means early voting throughout Georgia is underway. Henry County residents can vote at one of the county’s early voting polling locations until Nov. 1 and are able to request absentee ballots until Friday, Oct. 25.
Any Georgia voter is able to request an absentee ballot through the Georgia Secretary of State’s website. Absentee ballots must be returned via mail or in-person drop off to the Henry County Elections Office located at 1550 S Zack Hinton Pkwy. in McDonough no later than 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 5.
