Grand Jury Indicts Former Griffin Police Officer

GRIFFIN — A Spalding County grand jury indicted former Griffin Police Officer D’Marquivius “D.J.” King on one felony count of violation of oath by a public officer, Griffin Judicial Circuit District Attorney Marie Broder recently announced.

The indictment stems from an investigation by Georgia Bureau of Investigation agents into allegations King potentially mismanaged a murder case involving his half brother.
