McDONOUGH – Henry County voters in District 4 have the opportunity to return to the polls on Dec. 3 to vote in a run-off election between Democratic candidates Vivian Thomas and incumbent Michael Price. None of the five candidates on the ballot won a majority of the vote, resulting in a run-off for the district’s seat on the Henry County Board of Commissioners.

Fewer than 200 votes separated Price from Thomas after 100% of precincts had reported their results. Wesley Lakes precinct generated more than 1,000 votes for Thomas, her largest at polling locations within District 4. Price was only able to secure 957 votes at his best-performing precinct in Hickory Flat.
