McDONOUGH – A white house stands two-stories tall on the corner of Rogers Street, and although it’s empty now, it will soon serve as the gathering space for around 150 children seeking tutoring and mentorship through The Malachi Project.
The Malachi House Community Center has been under construction since it broke ground in October 2022. Once completed, it will provide classrooms, offices, a kitchen and community space for children and their parents to gather and learn. Pastor Terrell Scott said construction is almost complete and hopes that the community center will be open in March 2025.
