STOCKBRIDGE — While the research for the third book written by Hans Broder Jr. employed plenty of the usual modern-day platforms, the longtime Stockbridge resident also used some old-fashioned techniques as well.

Published earlier this year, “The Mystery Passenger” details the 1900 train wreck in Henry County that has been called the worst train accident in Georgia history, with nearly 40 fatalities.
