CONYERS – The Rockdale County Board of Commissioners announced Monday that the county intends to file a federal lawsuit against BioLab and its parent company, KIK Consumer Products, after a chemical explosion that caused the county’s residents to evacuate or shelter-in-place for 19 days.
“Today the Rockdale County Board of Commissioners stands in protection of not just Rockdale County residents, but all people who have been affected by the negligence and malfeasance of BioLab,” Commissioner Sherri Washington said during a press conference Monday morning.
