McDonough Rejects Trolley Purchases

McDONOUGH — People in McDonough will soon be transported through time and around town in two historic trolleys coming to the city in 2025. The project represents the City Council’s efforts to enrich the city’s culture and strengthen ties throughout the community.

The proposal to purchase two trollies for $250,000 each was approved by the McDonough City Council in October after being deferred earlier in the year. The trollies will drive along fixed routes throughout the city from Fridays to Sundays. Routes will restart every two hours from noon until 9 p.m.
