HCPD Applies For Federal Grant

McDONOUGH — The Henry County Police Department has announced that the Georgia Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) Council approved the establishment of a police academy in the Henry County Police Department. The HCPD will be appointing Lt. Matthew Marlowe as the academy director for the Henry County Police Department Law Enforcement Training Academy.

The establishment of a police academy reflects Henry County’s commitment to training the highest quality law enforcement professionals in the state, according to the announcement.
