New Henry County School Superintendent Dr. John Pace III began his first day on the job Tuesday meeting with principals and district leaders during the Compass professional development series. “We are thrilled to welcome Dr. Pace to HCS and excited to see the positive impact he will have on our students, staff, and community,” a statement from Henry County Schools read. The Henry County Board of Education named Pace as its sole finalist for the superintendent position on July 22 and unanimously approved his appointment on Aug. 6.
