STOCKBRIDGE— New development standards are now in place for the city of Stockbridge with regard to landscaping and some of the city’s main corridors.

The Stockbridge City Council on Monday approved an ordinance that requires new developments to adhere to landscape requirements, such as specific trees and vegetation allowed on a property. Moore said the ordinance also largely focuses on buffer and distance requirements between commercial and residential properties.
