Ex-Woodland music teacher granted bond in child sex case

Ryan Teraye Harvey

McDONOUGH — Former Woodland High School teacher Ryan Harvey will have a chance to prepare for his child molestation trial outside of the Henry County Jail, a judge has ordered.

Judge Arch McGarity granted Harvey’s motion for bond during an arraignment hearing Wednesday in Henry County Superior Court. Harvey, 23, entered a plea of not guilty to one count of sexual assault of a student, one count of aggravated child molestation, two counts of sexual battery against a child under the age of 16, and three counts of electronically furnishing obscene material to minors.
