HCPD Applies For Federal Grant

The Henry County Police Department recently applied for a $28,974  federal grant under the FY24 Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant Program to support the project entitled “Henry County Public Safety Initiative.”

The HCPD’s funding priority for the grant is to buy PIT bumper kits to support officer training on the Precision Immobilization Technique also known as the PIT maneuver.
