Officials look at financial costs and benefits of proposed Stockbridge annexations

STOCKBRIDGE — As the city is planning to annex thousands of households into its city limits, Stockbridge officials are looking at the costs associated with serving those additional properties.

Dale Hall, administration and community services director for Stockbridge, said a cost study was sanctioned in order to determine the likely costs “to fill in the gaps in the city to provide comprehensive service.”
