McDONOUGH— Southern Crescent Technical College in McDonough will be moving forward with its second building, the result of Henry County Board of Commissioners approving a resolution Tuesday that authorized the transfer of an easement to the Technical College System of Georgia.

BOC Chairman Tommy Smith was the lone vote against the conveyance of the easement, stating he didn’t believe it constituted a “valid property interest” on the county’s behalf as required in the SPLOST IV agreement.
